Coowner of Elektec chosen as one of the top 20 “women of impact”

Elektec’s Finance and Business Communications Manager, Charlotte Knowles, has been chosen as one of Lancashire’s top 20 “Women of Impact” by Lancashire Business View.

The panel of independent judges selected Charlotte stating “In her day to day role, Charlotte has played an integral role in navigating electrical contractor Elektec through Covid19, taking responsibility for staff wellbeing as well as overcoming financial pressures. 

She has also been the driving force behind the company’s community efforts, which include supporting Secret Santa, Blackburn Foodbank, Blackburn Youth Zone, East Lancashire Hospice and a new initiative with Blackburn Rovers.

She also mentors young people through the Prince’s Trust and delivers careers advice to high school in the Borough.”

The latest edition of Lancashire Business View, shines a spotlight on the women who are making things happen.  Richard Slater, publisher of Lancashire Business View, said that the feature showcases “unsung heroes who are making a difference, those at the heart of the business whose ambition, creativity and drive are making a real difference in their own organisation, to their sector, or to the wider Lancashire economy.”
